Calendula - Edible Flowers

Calendula is a lovely, bright flower that has been used medicinally for centuries. It is sometimes referred to as “poor man’s saffron” because of its ability to add a light yellow tint to a dish.

Suggested Culinary Use: You can either use the full flower as a centerpiece garnish, or separate the many petals and sprinkle them on a wide variety of dishes, salads, eggs, or incorporate in herb butter. You can steep the flowers in hot water for a medicinal tea.
